This photograph taken by Steve McCurry is successful for many different ways. One way is it really captures the expressionless face of the girl in the photo, this shows what her life is like. Another reason is her eyes, her dark skin and red clothing brings emphasis onto her piercing green eyes. Finally the color contrast, her green eyes, to her red clothes, to the green background provides motion in the photo and guides your eyes through the whole thing. For my project I am thinking about taking a photograph of someone in their environment, doing their hobby, or capture the expression in their face.
