I think this picture was very succesful in terms of the mood and colors of the picture. The black and white monotone of this picture gives the feeling of a cold winter night with poeple rushing around. The shutter speed in this picture also set very well because it captures the image in a way, with a slight blur, that shows the business of New York City. Also the reflection on the car is nice and makes your circle around up to the sign and down to the people who are in a side to side blur which then draws your eye back down to the reflection and lights on the car. Finally your eye moves to the darker part of the image and to the drivers sullen face which agrees with the mood of the dark part of the picture. I think this picture would be more satisfying to the eye if the line of the sidewalk was straightened, but still led your eye to the path the car would follow off the image.
