The above image uses many principles of design that help contribute to the development of a strong image. This photo has great emphasis on the red building because that is the first thing my eye goes to when looking at this image, and red tends to jump out when the background has more neutral colors. There is also repetition in the windows of the building, and there is movement throughout the entire image because of the tree branches and the continuous shifts in color. This image is desaturated because of the choice in color. When this image was taken, the photographer used shallow depth of field, because the background is more blurred and the overall focus is on the red building. I really like this image because of the colors. The red ties in very well with the gray sky and the green grass. There is also unity with the colors because the buildings in the background are of the same tone as the red building that the image focuses on. This image is satisfying to the eye is very interesting to look at.
