This image by Hiroshi Watanabe represents darkness to me. The dark colors and desaturation really shows the dark and eerie mood. I think the photographer could have either aligned the structure/building to be in the middle of the picture, or could have taken it from another angle so the structure is on the other side of the picture and has negative space. I like how the building is not straight and kind of bent on the left side. It represents disorder and imperfection. I also think that if the aperture was smaller, than that would create a blurry background and focus more on the building rather than the clouds and sea in the background. The photographer did a great job though of capturing the feeling and mood associated with the picture
