This is a picture, taken in 1958, from the portfolio of the Last House Standing by Ben Marcin. Ben Marcin was born in Augsburg, Germany. I like this picture because it seems simple but there are many complex items that go into making this picture soothing to the eye and easy to look at. The blue and grey colors give it a calming feel and the yellow in the middle causes the whole picture to have a good vibe. The depth of field helps the blue building stand out against the duller background. One thing I might have done differently is cropped the sign on the very left out because it takes away from the buildings and fence.
