This photo by Russell Philips is from the series Movie Theater Interiors and was taken in 1983. I really like this photo because of the repetition of the chairs. I also like how the curve in the ceiling follows the curve of the chairs. There are complimentary colors, yellow and blue, used in the ceiling along with green and magenta. The saturation in the photo gives it an almost luxurious feel, from the yellow-gold to the deep red. The only thing that I would change is the carpet in the bottom right-hand corner. I feel that it distracts the eye and that it isn't really needed as the photo already has a lot of patterns and saturated colors.
