PofD Colors

I think that this is my strongest photo because of the harmony between all of the objects. It also mixes a sense of cool tones and warm tones. It gives a sense of warmth with the focus being on the bright, warm sunset, but also gives a calmer, cooler sense in the water and the sky because of the blues. The way that the focus is on the bright hues and the blues make up the background increases the depth of the photo and enhances the feeling of completeness and serenity. I believe that this photo is pleasing to the eye because the brain associates warm hues with the sun and cooler colors with the water and the sky, which is exactly what this photo does. The contrast between the warm and cool colors is what leads this photo to give off a sense of calmness and relaxation, and, in the case of the bridge and the trees that are dark in comparison to the bright sunset, breaks up the sky and the water in a clear, but not disrupting way. I think that the way the colors work in my photo make it my strongest.
