This photo is very pleasing to my eyes because of the emotion in this man's face, which transfers to the viewer. A principle of design utilized is unity, because of people spread out throughout the photo, with one of them as a major focal point. I think the monotone colors of the photo make everything jive well with each other. Also, I think proportion can apply because the two people in the background are the same size, small, and the man in the front is centered and a pleasing size relative to everything else. Although I like this photo a lot, I think the photographer could have cut off the photo on the wall furthest to the right in order to create more proportion in the background details. The accessories on the wall would then compliment to photo better I believe.
