I think that this was my best picture regarding color because the colors are different, but they tie in really well with each other. On the right side of the diagonal is the reflection of a lake with clouds in it. The colors on this side , deep blues and grays, give a feeling of the sea and the gray adds a gloomy undertone. This is accurate since when I took this picture it was about to rain and the water is a lake which relates to the sea. On the left side of the diagonal is the sidewalk that surrounds the lake. The white and light gray colors on this side suggest the feelings of simplicity and compromise. The line in the middle of the picture, separating the sidewalk and lake, a gray-beige color, shows the difference and separation between the two mediums and colors. This line of division also makes the two sides of the image appear sharper and more contrasting.
