Advertisemet

I enjoy this ad, because of the muted and dull colors. This add sparks my interest, because of how the tacks represent places or pin points on a map. I love traveling and exploring, so that is another reason for why this add interests me. Although this add may not pop out at you, the idea behind the add itself is interesting enough. When I first came across this ad a major thing that popped out was the repetition of the lines on the bridge. That aspect helps the add pop out more, despite the absence of color. I think this ad would be more helpful to Audi if they placed one of their newer cars on the bridge in between the first two tacks.

advertisement

I like this advertisement because its funny, and conveys the object without actually having to put the object in the shot. i also like that the photo is taken straight on to focus on the people, while still making the bottle of cleaner a focal point. I like the colors used in this ad because they all blend together an make the ad pleasing to look at. I think the lighting is nice because it isn't too dark, but there is enough light for you to see every aspect of the photo.

I like this advertisement because the content is so plain and simple, yet still perfectly placed and composed. This photo brings me peace because of how proportionate all of the candles are to each other and the flames are so even. I also like how the background is blurred and the front of the picture is in such great focus. It looks really nice how the bottom of the flames are orange and there are outlines of orange around the flame.

My advertisement

In this advertisement I like how they show the show but then make it look like paint on the edges. I like how they put the black back round because the shoe looks like it is floating and the colors are poping out at you. I love how you can see the reflection of the flash on the shoe beause the backround makes it look dark but the reflection of the flash on the shoe counter acts the darkness feeling. The angle of the shoe is also perfect because you can still see the nike swoosh on the shoe. The small nike swoosh looks good where it is, but I would have put it in the right top corner instead. For my project I am doing oranges, and I was going to take some photos with a black backdrop so the orange will pop out. I was also hoping to use white so then the orange and white can bland together and look unison.

Advertisment

I like this advertisement because, since the image is mostly white it looks very clean and simple making it very pleasing to the eye. Also the ice-cream looks very clean, textured and delicious. I think this advertisement is very appealing. For my project I am photographing macaroons which I believe will look very colorful and simple and clean, much like this bowl of ice-cream, and will provide a good advertisement. I plan to arrange the macarons in my project more uniquely in my project however because although this ice-cream looks very clean and simple it is also a little bit boring.
I like this ad because of all the colors and all the textures. The blue in this picture really makes the white and brown stand out more. When looking at the picture the chocolate milk stands out more because it looks like it is popping out of the picture. The texture of the chocolate milk makes it look more appetizing which is good in the ad. Also the lighting is good because there are little to no shadows.

Céline Advertisement

This advertisement for the Celine "Medium Luggage Phantom Handbag in White and Navy Textile" appeals to me very much because of how pleasing it is to look at. My eye is constantly moving around the image because there are so many clean cut lines. This image is two-toned and the two contrasting colors really complement each other in their arrangement. I also think that the placement of the zippers and tassels on the bag add effect and extra movement to the image. The bag is placed on a wooden pedestal and I think that is very original. The light in the image is coming from the left side. This can be told by noticing that there is a shadow cast over the right side of the image.

I really like this advertisement because of the background. In my opinion, the use of the product, the red M&M's,  for a background is a really creative idea. It provides more advertisement of the product and the red color helps make the bag of M&M's standout. By emphasizing the bag that says the product, the consumer will easily identify the product. I also really like complexity of the background because, by using the product, it will make the consumer want it more.

sophia ad

This is an ad for the Havaianas flip flops. All of the Havaianas ads show this colorful and playful atmosphere. These colors bring viewers attentions and the ads are remembered. The flip flops have a hug variety of colors and patterns, and each of these unique ads sell that. Not only is the brand's logo boldly colored on the bottom left, the flip flops have the brand name on them. I believe this is a strong and successful ad, it makes me want to have a collection of flip flops. For my advertisement project, I want to sell candles. I think that a photo of a lit candle with a black backdrop could look really cool.

PEANUT M&M's

The yellow in this image I believe is very appealing. The photo is almost compleatly
monochromatic because of the amount of yellow that takes up the photo.
The image uses the color yellow to represent the peanut M&M that this company sells.
I really like how the yellow M&M bag also really compliments
the yellow background, by being the same color and relating to it
by the background being M&M's and the small candy bag being a
bag full of M&M's. The colors of the different candies takes away from
the full monochromatic feel of the photo because it adds some different
colors, however I really like how your eye goes straight
to the colors when your eye sees this photo.

French Fry Advertisement

I like this advertisement because it is extremely simple but still makes the consumer want what is advertised. I also like how there are very few colors present, but they all work together very well. The position of the french fry and the hand in relation to the ketchup allows me to picture the french fry being dipped into the sauce. When I see this advertisement, it makes me want this particular product. And, I think that if a simple image allows one to do this, it is very successful. For my project, I am going to advertise different assortments of pasta. I think this idea will be successful because there are so many different shapes and forms of pasta that can be photographed in many different ways. I am going to take photos of different shapes of dry pasta and different forms of cooked pasta.

Glassex Ad

I like this ad because it is very appealing to the eye in many ways. I like how the woman's dress blends in and matches bot the curtain and the floor and at the same time, it really stands out. I also like how the man's suit also fades into the curtains. On the contrary I like how the rose on his suit really grabs your eye and the ad part itself is only a mere part of the picture. I will not be using this ad for my project, but i have an idea to use advertise different cupcakes and make them stand out in the world.

NFL logo

I love this logo! It does have a lot to do with the game of football and how I like it so much. I find this logo to be so cool, right when I look at it I think of America and how football is such a big part of American culture.

baileys ad

I like this ad because its a creative way to show how you can have fun with the little things in life. I also like how the bottom of the ad is more plain and more of a original coke look. Then towards the top its a new brighter more colorful way of life, by using bright colors and interesting shapes and textures and looks and patterns, to create a more happy feel to the image.  Its interesting how they created the image to help the actual company by showing thats its a fun drink to have and that you should buy it more, and with it looking interesting people are more obligated to buy the product. Its cool how they made all these little shapes making the top part of the image almost highlight the bottom.

Lego Vader Sucks Ad

I believe this ad is a great advertisement for lego. I think the idea along with the bright color of yellow in this ad really makes it POP. Lego also did a great job of incorporating a well known movie like star wars. Star Wars being in this ad opens the possibilities of sales to Star Wars and Lego lovers. Due to these reasons I think this is a great ad for Legos and Star Wars.

I like this ad because it is very persuasive, yet it is simple. This ad shows how your imagination can turn small, simple objects into things you only dream of, like dinosaurs. It shows that while children may seem to have small, simple ideas, their ideas are more grand and complex. I also like this ad because the background is very simple, leaving the structure to make a pop. The background also lets the shadow have an impact as well. This ad makes me want to go buy legos.

Carolina Panthers

I  believe that this logo really symbolizes the game of football.
the colors of it just say the game of not only grit but as well toughness on and off the football field it is simple as well .this is avery easily recognized logo that every one will remember its not too fancy.
in fact its good because football is not supposed to be fancy it is more basic as it speaks  to the american way to rise to the top .this logo is frightening as well as it is better to be feared than loved in the perfusion of sports.i think back to the movie the bronx tale do you want to be loved or feared?
In football come playoff time you want to be feared as if you are the driving force that keeps them between the trophy this logo exclaims just that .

Ketchup Ad

This advertisement is very appealing to look at. The mostly red presents a monochromatic feeling that draws the eye and helps you remember the image. This is a very creative idea. The company used tomatoes to create the ketchup bottle to show its origin. The red also helps with this as red is easily associated with ketchup. The white in the center of the screen is emphasis. This was very smart because that is where they placed their logo and brand name. This is good because their brand name is the first place you look when you see the image. Now you will remember the brand name easily. I plan on doing something similar with my images. I like the feeling of monochromatic images. It makes the image feel complete to me.

the other ads need to ketchup

This add utilizes monochromaticity and gradience to show an appealing pun on nature. I like this add because it shows the natural of the ketchup being sold. The stacking of the tomatoes adds variety that can be beneficial to continuing the natural theme throughout the image. The simplistic statement gets to the point with a clear cut white on red contrast. The stem of the tomato at the top of the perceived bottle rounds out the natural theme to give unity along with just enough complexity to bring the image to another level. My idea focuses on high contrast images utilizing negative space to up the shock value of the initial viewing of the series. Adding a simplistic logo completes the idea of how striking something basic can be.

Ad

I find this m&m blog appealing because of different reasons. One, the m&ms are spelling something. Spelling stuff with your food is fun! Another reason is that is is really simple and basic but it thats all the ad is really selling so why add more. I like how the m&ms are set up like a keyboard and they wrote on the bottom, "communication just got sweeter." That is very clever to me.

Cool Ad

I think that this ad is very successful due to many factors. I really like the idea of the diptych since it shows to different sides of the candy, the right gummy bear is more of a sweet, cool, funny feeling but the left lemon heads have more of a strict, almost sour feeling to it even though it has a pink background. The ad makes me think about which candy I would prefer and makes me want to go out and buy which ever one I prefer. Contradicting the idea of the sour lemon, I think it also gives a sense of warmth since there are white shadows cascading the lemon with warm tones of pink migrating to the corners. The right image reminds me a lot about my elementary school days, mainly because it looks like something I would post on instagram in 6th grade, but also just the memories of eating a ton of candy when I was younger. If I were to take inspiration from one of the images I would choose the left picture of the lemon since it has a lot of depth to it even though it is only a lemon and some candy.

This advertisement picture is really appealing to me because I love how everything is aligned perfectly. The orange centered, and then the footsteps trailing off towards the right side of the picture perfectly balance the HARIBO name on the left hand corner. The shadow under the orange is really nice because it ads some softness to the orange. Like if the orange didn't have a dramatic shadow, then the orange would be very bright and you could see the flash reflecting off of the orange more which I wouldn't like. The gummy bear cut out in the orange is very smart because it makes me want to go find that orange cut out and go eat it. The little foot steps are also very appealing. Also, just the plain and simple 2 colors of the orange and white are very satisfying and complete.

I think this ad is successful because it is very generic. The ad insists on people coming to them with the very encouraging thumbs-up sign. The slogan is also very encouraging because it insists that you don't have to be in shape to go to a gym, anyone can come to them. Also, the purple background doesn't seem to serious and that you don't have to be serious about working out in their building. Planet fitness is a very generic and welcoming ad for people.

Successful Ad and Project Idea

This picture advertises the drink having no sugar, which they elaborate on with the extremely white teeth on the can. The splash of white really helps to put focus on product itself. There is red and cyan throughout the picture, which really adds to the image due to the complementary colors. The blue background fading into black is putting more emphasis on the focus of the image, the product.

My idea for this project is to photograph headphones. The images would consist of the headphones themselves, or in an environment where they would be used. This would be to convey my enjoyment for video games and music.

jaida sanders blog

I think this is a very successful still advertisement.
Because of the clarity and the creativity it is shot in,
it has nice color combinations. It placed against a
nice background. I also think the fact that the bottle is being broken adds (no pun intended) to the satisfaction of the photo. The photo is generally appeasing to the eye. I think the way the water is falling and how the glass is breaking is satisfying.I also like the complicated simplicity of the photo, it is very simply shot but has a lot to follow and I'm sure the set up was hard too. My idea for the upcoming project is limes. I plan on playing with different depth of fields and making the limes interesting. I don't know if i will tell a story with them of if i am just going to shoot them in a simple way.

Still Advertisement

I think this still advertisement is very successful and attractive to a buyer's eye. This advertisement is appealing because of how clean and bright the photo is, drawing the viewer to look closer. The bright white box holding the perfume on top of the white background sets an almost seamless edge on the corners but it is broken up by the branches. The branches' berries also tie in to the color scheme of the product so everything melds together well. My idea for the ad project is chicken because everyone loves looking at good food! I am planning on setting up photos such as chicken wings getting dipped in hot sauce that splashes out nicely or other creative set ups of a "picnic" with chicken breading crumbs everywhere. I think it would be a very interesting and successful project that is really unique and has lots of possibilities. I'm considering naming my ad "Chicken Wang Chicken Thang" or something similar to that.

Extra gum

I  like this ad because it is simple and gets to the point but is pleasing to look at. The colors of the gum coordinate with the background and lettering. The background gives the impression that the gum is something smaller in life that is still enjoyable. The ad also gives the idea of giving to others rather than being selfish. I think they made a phrase out of the product name to have potential buyers remember the name of the product through a short and catchy phrase. Overall, I think this ad is successful because of the simplistic feeling and the message it gives that makes you remember the name of the brand. I plan on using unwrapped/unlabeled gum to create a colorful pop in the white background. I plan on using the name "smack down" for the logo/name of the company.

successful ad

I think this ad is extremely successful. Although it isn't for an actual product it is extremely powerful. I think this ad is successful because it honestly and truly shows how violent drunk driving can be. I love this ad because it has a meaning behind it. This isn't an ad about a man being punched, its about how people suffer and feel pain because of something.

My idea is grizzly gore. It will be special fx makeup and it will be on teddy bears. Some of the images will just be the product, such as fake blood, and some will be the products applied to the bears. This project would be my way of expressing my thoughts animal testing and animal cruelty in the cosmetic world.

Favorite Ad and Ad Project Idea

I like this ad because of the angle it is taken at and the water being sprayed around by the top of the can. I think the ad is successful because it appears that the can is floating in empty space. The ad makes it look like the can is being taken out of a cooler full of cold water.

My project idea is to use coffee raw and roasted beans, ground beans, and coffee drinks.

Snuggle Fabric Softener Ad (Press)

I particularly like this ad because of the fact the product is placed on a blanket. It really sells the product because the blanket is perfectly white. I like the blue and yellow bottle because they are complementary colors therefore it looks appealing to the eye. The bear is very welcoming and he looks very "snuggleable" so it sells the product because its fabric softener. The fact there are no hard lines really helps the idea of softness. Over all this is a really successful image because of all of the things that go into it that make it complete and get the point across. I am doing laundry detergent
